JRC is looking for a talented Senior Technical Advisor for Missile Defense to join our team! In this position, you will play a pivotal role in the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) establishment of a new Program Office. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future of missile defense capabilities, providing senior-level support in defining, managing, and executing requirements traceability.

As a Senior Technical Advisor for Missile Defense, you will...

• Drive the advancement, oversight, and strategic planning of both existing and emerging missile defense systems.
• Offer expert guidance in defining, managing, and executing requirements traceability with precision.
• Lead the establishment and operation of the MDA Program Office, ensuring its success and growth.
• Cultivate collaborative technical exchanges within the MDA engineering community to enhance innovation and synergy.

What you bring to the table...

• Master's degree in a STEM field
• 20+ years of relevant professional experience
• An Active DoD security clearance at the Secret level (or above)
• Technical expertise supporting government and contracting staff in systems and digital engineering
• Experience in the development, management, and planning for current and future capabilities as they relate to missile defense, specifically related to the functional portion of the system
• Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and providing recommendations on the development, addition, variances, and changes to functional requirements as well as providing quality checks on technical documentation and products
• Senior-level experience in document development, presentations, change requests, and other engineering products
• Experience with interacting and supporting high-level government customers (Senior NH-4 director-level and above)
• Understanding of Industry/DoD engineering best practices, complemented with mature communication skills
