Orion Solutions Group is partnering with a growing, full-service public accounting firm in Oakland County to find a highly motivated and organized Senior Tax Associate. The ideal candidate will possess strong tax expertise, technical accounting skills, and leadership abilities, with a keen desire to grow and learn. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and multi-state tax returns for Firm clients. Tax preparation includes Trusts, C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, and Individuals.
• Assist in managing a diverse client portfolio over a wide range of industries.
• Perform tax services including tax planning and research utilizing cloud-based engagement software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Active CPA license required.
• Proficiency in compliance, tax preparation, and tax planning
• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
• Experience with finance-related tasks
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Trust Tax Preparation
• Familiarity with Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite is a plus
