Senior Accountant The Senior Accountant - Family Office will ensure the integrity of tax, accounting and reporting information for certain assets of the family and foundation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform daily, monthly and other periodic accounting functions as assigned including, but not limited to preparing journal entries, spreadsheets, and account reconciliations; drafting financial statements and other projects as assigned.
- Complete federal and multi-state partnership, partnership, trust, foundation, fiduciary and individual income and gift tax returns, some complex.
- Responsible for the integrity of the general ledger and financial statements of assigned entities, ensuring a timely and accurate close is completed.
- Maintain various management and financial reporting schedules for the assigned entities including summaries of key budget to actual variances and tracking of capital expenditure costs.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budgets for the assigned entities.
- Prepare and/or review payment requests associated with the assigned entities.
- Coordinate with the tax team for the preparation of the year-end tax schedules and workpapers.
- Coordinate with the treasury team to forecast anticipated cash needs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum two years of work experience in tax and accounting
- CPA designation is preferred, but not required
- Must be detail oriented
- Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
- Proven experience successfully multitasking
- Possess strong collaborative and communication skills
- Must be extremely reliable and trustworthy, and maintain confidentiality
