Job Overview
Magna International is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Test Engineer to join our New Mobility team in Lowell, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems testing, robotics, and automation. This role involves implementing and executing test plans to ensure the reliability and performance of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) systems, collaborating with hardware and software teams, and owning R&D testing for AMR accessories.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for AMR systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and product management to define system requirements and testing strategies.Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.Improve testing processes and methodologies continuously to enhance product quality.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in systems testing, preferably in robotics or automation.
- Strong understanding of software and hardware testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
