Your role as a Senior Systems IT Administrator

NewCold has an excellent career opportunity in our IT Department for a Senior System Engineer responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's systems (Windows environment but also Networking infrastructure). Your expertise in Windows server technologies, Active Directory, group policies, and PowerShell scripting will be essential in ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our systems as well as your expertise in networking infrastructure.What will you do?Windows Server AdministrationAutomation and ScriptingNetworkingSystem Monitoring and SupportDocumentationYou will interact internally with colleagues within the IT department and across all our sites and officesYou will interact externally suppliers and vendors

Who we are looking for:We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals who thrive in collaborative and fast-moving environments. Our ideal candidate has:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or EngineeringProven experience as a Senior Windows System Administrator or similar role, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing Windows-based infrastructureStrong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019), Active Directory, Entra ID, group policies, and PowerShell scriptingExcellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex system issuesStrong knowledge of networkingStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersThe ability to adopt new technologies fastMicrosoft Azure (cloud and local) is not mandatory, but desirable
