About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of advanced embedded systems and IoT solutions. This role involves working across multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance systems that meet complex technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Requirements Development

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements.
• Author clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation.
• Ensure requirements are traceable, testable, and aligned with project goals.
• Design and implement proof of concepts (POCs) to validate system designs.
• Evaluate and select technologies and tools for implementation.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.

3. System Architecture and Design

• Architect Linux-based embedded systems with hosting capabilities.
• Utilize Docker containers for application deployment and management.
• Design high-speed network servers to support diverse applications.

4. Integration and Optimization

• Integrate IoT devices and sensors into system architecture.
• Optimize performance and reliability for real-time data processing.
• Ensure seamless communication between system components.

5. Testing and Validation

• Develop and execute test plans to validate functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with QA teams to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing phases.

6. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain detailed documentation of designs, configurations, and processes.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Provide training and support to team members and end-users.

7. Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and project managers.
• Participate in design reviews and offer constructive feedback.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.

Experience

• 5+ years in system engineering and development, focusing on embedded systems and IoT.
• Proven experience in authoring system requirements and designing complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems and Docker.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of RTSP, MQTT, WebRTC networking protocols.
• Familiarity with BLE technology and IoT frameworks.
• Experience with high-speed server architecture and performance optimization.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud services and edge computing.
• Knowledge of machine learning or computer vision applications.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $ 92000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $ 131000 per year

A candidate's pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
