The Senior System Analyst plays a critical role in translating business needs into functional and technical solutions. This hybrid position blends strong business analysis capabilities with hands-on technical expertise, including application support, process automation, and data analysis. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in development, with experience in platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and SQL Server, enabling them to both support and enhance system functionality while driving business outcomes.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation to work onsite at either our Pacific, MO or Downers Grove, IL office as part of a flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibility:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
• Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements that align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to planning, execution, and review activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams - including developers, testers, and product owners - to ensure successful delivery of business solutions.
• Assist in preparing and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business needs.
• Provide ongoing support for internal and third-party applications, including issue resolution, user guidance, and system enhancements.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for requirements, system functionality, and process workflows.
• Support DevOps and CI/CD practices to improve solution delivery and operational consistency.
• Assist with enhancements, solution design/development, and user support for Microsoft dynamics solutions, including the Customer Service and Sales Support modules.
• Coordinate with web application support teams and external vendors to ensure application availability, performance, and handle minor configuration tasks.
• Write basic SQL queries for reporting and troubleshooting; assist with scheduled SQL Server tasks such as patching and routine maintenance.
• Monitor, triage, and escalate application issues while working closely with technical teams to resolve root causes.
• Effectively balance responsibilities across business analysis and light technical tasks, demonstrating a high level of ownership and initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis with prior development experience.
• Prior hands-on development experience is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to capture, analyze, and communicate business and functional requirements clearly.
• Familiarity with business process modeling, Agile practices, and user story creation.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service and Sales Support modules) and basic SQL is highly preferred.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and driving initiatives from discovery through to delivery.

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $120,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
