Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, coordinating with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to develop a consensus demand plan.
- Own and manage supply planning activities, ensuring optimal production and inventory strategies aligned with customer service and cost targets.
- Analyze historical trends, market intelligence, and promotional inputs to produce accurate demand forecasts at multiple levels (SKU, region, channel).
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across global warehouses and distribution centers, minimizing excess and obsolescence risk while maintaining fill rates.
- Collaborate with sourcing and procurement teams to align supplier capabilities and lead times with supply plans.
- Use advanced planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, Kinaxis, or similar) to drive forecasting and planning efficiency.
- Develop and present planning KPIs and dashboards to leadership, identifying root causes of performance gaps and driving continuous improvement.
- Participate in or lead cross-functional projects related to product launches, supply chain transformation, and planning system upgrades.
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be able to collaborate closely with teams in China, including working during China Standard Time (CST) hours.
- Mandarin fluency is required to facilitate effective communication.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and advanced planning systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Kinaxis, etc.).
- Strong Excel and data analytics skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
Additional Preferences:
- APICS/ASCM Certification (CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
- Experience in consumer electronics, medical devices, or high-velocity product environments.
- Familiarity with global supply chain dynamics and constraints (e.g., tariffs, lead time variability, international logistics).
