We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer in our New York City office.

• Serve as Structural Engineer or Project Engineer on major projects
• Prepare detailed plans and construction documents for assigned tasks
• Perform engineering calculations to support the detailed plans and construction documents developed
• Develop contract specifications and bid documents, as well as technical report writing
• Conduct occasional field site visits
• Coordinate various disciplines and payment items within the construction documents
• Provide mentoring and training to junior staff
• Attend internal project meetings and contribute information as requested by management, effectively communicating with project managers

• BS in Civil Engineering required; MS preferred
• PE License required (preferably in NY)
• A minimum of five to ten years of Structural Engineering experience with a focus on bridge design
• Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design and plan production of bridge projects following Federal and State code
• Bridge rating experience
• Ability to work effectively as part of a design team
• Experience in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; required experience with current FEM modeling software
• Experience with local client base preferable (NYSDOT, NYCDOT, PANYNJ)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary range: $100,000 – $150,000 annually. Salary commensurate with experience.
