Brunello Cucinelli USA, Inc. in New York, NY seeks a Senior Store Planning Manager to oversee the overall store design and planning process for all retail locations, wholesale businesses and concession businesses in North America. Have strategic influence on all expansion plans by establishing priorities and determining resource allocation for the effective delivery of all store construction and architectural projects.
Oversee design planning strategy and meetings for all multi-channel elements of the business (retail, wholesale and concessions) and responsible for leading the PM team in the construction of retail stores across multiple brands to include new stores, remodels, relocations, and refresh projects - from pre-approval through store opening. Ensure projects are delivered to Brand quality standards, within approved budgets and on-time for planned store opening.
Manage the critical path and key milestones and events for projects, working cross-functionally to analyze costs, determine root causes of variances and understand trends and project forecasts. Analyze and address needed adjustments in the PM workload based on project counts and slotting, resource availability and geographic distribution.
Create and maintain transparent reporting for PM group and creates action plans for achieving annual KPIs. Serve as a corporate liaison to external partners including landlords, general contractors, vendors, Italian HQs and oversee various vendors including architects, engineers, landlords as well as function as a corporate liaison to internal departments including Visual Merchandising, Product Management, Retail Operations, Legal, and Finance.
Review and approve luxury retail store plans, letters of intent, and contracts and verify and approve bidders lists on all store construction projects. Ensure the timely review and approval of lease delivery requirements, landlord work letters and construction related lease terms, to ensure delivery requirements. 40% domestic travel required.
Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, tourism, legal agreements or a related degree. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. 3 years of experience required with the following: Experience in luxury retail; Architectural Drawing details, Construction Methods, MEP drawings, and Structural Engineering Drawings; Millwork Standards, Details, and Retail Store Construction; AutoCAD; Financial analysis; Review LOIs and lease agreements in partnership with legal department; and, Knowledge of ADA and construction compliance codes/rules.
Salary $119,496/yr.
