This role involves partnering with sales, delivery, and solution engineering teams to achieve customer success through thought leadership and awareness. The person will take a consultative approach with customers and prospects to discover and map business outcome-driven solutions. Responsibilities include demonstrating and prototyping platform capabilities, identifying specific requirements for innovative application prototypes, and providing solutions and enablement to the technical salesforce, including product and solution advice during pre-sales discussions.

Responsibilities
  • Drive innovative business solutions and digital transformation with our customers.
  • Consult with customers and prospects to understand their needs and pain points; evangelize the business value of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Architect solutions on the ServiceNow platform independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrate the ServiceNow platform live to customers and prospects, highlighting features and functionality.
  • Conduct business process and technical workshops, including enablement sessions.
  • Engage with the ServiceNow community as a thought leader on solutioning.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, and delivery teams to translate challenges into requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop documentation, pricing, and statements of work for customers.
  • Learn about other technologies that may integrate with ServiceNow to produce holistic solutions.
  • Obtain and maintain relevant pre-sales ServiceNow certifications.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a solution/sales engineer or consultant in a software company.
  • Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform across multiple modules.
  • ITIL Foundations v3 or higher certification or working knowledge of ITIL concepts.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Passion for problem-solving and solution selling.
  • Knowledge of web and mobile app development, business modeling, database concepts, and project management, preferably with Agile.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Insight into technical architectures, IT products, and positioning.
  • ServiceNow certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience with other SaaS platforms like Tanium, Atlassian, Splunk, Data Dog, etc., is a plus.
  • Understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and frameworks like AngularJS or jQuery is a plus.
  • Experience with emerging technologies such as IoT, machine learning, and web services is a plus.
  • College degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

Salary range: $180,000 - $250,000 annually, including base and target bonus, depending on experience and location.
