Senior Solar Tech - DTE Energy : Job Details

Ensures that DTE Electrics solar assets are maximizing energy production and operating at design specifications. Mentors less experienced team members with operating and maintaining utility scale solar photovoltaic electric systems. This role involves both equipment and communication system monitoring, maintenance, and repair. Key Accountabilities Assists in reviewing solar plant designs, with both new sites and modifications to existing assets. Provides quality control and supervisory support on future construction of solar plants. Recommends enhancements and implements improvements to increase plant output. Responsible for program oversight of periodic aerial inspections; including retainment of applicable licensing. Lead periodic testing and troubleshooting for battery energy storage systems.
