Job Description

• Title: Senior Solar Project Manager 5 years experience required
• Location: Flushing, NY
• Employment Type: Full?time, onsite at Flushing office

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a 10 MW public housing portfolio and serve as main point of contact with stakeholders
  • Oversee permitting approvals (Landmark Preservation, Public Design Committee, DOB, ConEdison, NYSERDA, DCAS)
  • Build and manage daily project schedules and internal timelines
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to maintain project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Work with engineers/design teams to ensure compliant PV design
  • Support project financing and approvals; mentor PM team members

• Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of solar experience leading larger projects (> $15M)
  • Extensive experience in commercial & industrial solar
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Expert knowledge of solar systems, technologies, industry trends
  • Electrical background a plus
  • Ability to travel within NYC metro for site visits
