Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, modify, and implement software for products, focusing on customer satisfaction, quality, and timely delivery.
- Ensure functional quality across all platforms and mechanisms.
- Understand complex products and create comprehensive software designs, including system re-architecture.
- Act as Technical Lead on major projects, advising on future upgrades and influencing technical directions.
- Promote innovation by integrating new technologies and knowledge.
- Provide technical expertise, perform complex programming and analysis, and guide junior engineers.
About the Role:
Siemens DISW offers Integration products used internally and externally, transitioning to Cloud & SaaS, enabling Cloud & Hybrid operations for clients. This role is part of the Xcelerator Data Hub program focusing on Cloudification governance, requiring a passionate technical team member.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the Data Hub technical contact for DISW Business Segments, focusing on AWS, Azure, & Kubernetes integration products.
- Collaborate with Business Segment teams to evaluate and plan Cloud transition strategies.
- Support development of technical transition plans and proofs-of-concept.
- Coordinate with architects, product experts, and infrastructure teams for cloud environment setup.
- Maintain a scorecard on transition progress and cloud readiness.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field, with 10+ years of programming & architecture experience.
- Strong background in software architecture design and implementation (5+ years).
- Understanding of AWS/Azure services and architecture best practices (4+ years).
- Experience in cloud solutions, containerization, DevOps, and cloud security (4+ years).
- Proven technical leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in demanding environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Siemens Digital Industries products and PLM/ALM/MBSE/EDA/MOM software.
- Knowledge of integration landscapes, data governance, and industrial sectors.
Additional Information:
We offer flexible work arrangements, competitive benefits, and a diverse, inclusive environment. The salary range is $126,100 to $227,000, with incentive opportunities. Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
