Position: Senior Software Engineer

Interview Process: 1. Phone interview 2. Skype interview with technical assessment

Duration: 6-9 months contract to hire

Requirement: US Citizens and Green Card holders only

  • C++ and Java programming experience
  • Self-starter with minimal guidance

Summary:

The Senior Software Engineer – Android Applications will review business requirements, create design documents, develop, test, and deliver software solutions for IFE. The role involves working within agile teams, designing, developing, and mentoring junior staff. The candidate should work independently, participate in technical planning, and collaborate on design discussions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implement and test software applications for the IFEC distributed system
  • Define modules and interfaces/APIs
  • Ensure alignment with architecture and design patterns
  • Meet customer commitments and communicate effectively with PO and Scrum Master
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Innovate and solve problems creatively
  • Ensure quality documentation and coding standards

Additional Details:

  • Contribute to software development and implementation to meet customer expectations
  • Participate in all development phases and ensure quality standards
  • Apply Agile practices and participate in sprint planning
  • Knowledge of JUnit, object-oriented standards, Java, Design Patterns, Multi-threading, IPC
