Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated technical contributor with strong experience in shipping production-level code and significant backend expertise. You should understand and manage the entire development lifecycle, from local development and version control to frontend and backend development, AWS setup, deployment, and maintenance.

As part of a small startup, you must be able to prioritize, focus, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including technical analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Identify and implement improvements and innovations within the development area.
• Ensure quality in design and construction.
• Work on backend node.js APIs, React web UIs, and Docker infrastructure.
• Manage AWS infrastructure, including databases, servers, and serverless functions.
• Participate in database schema design changes.

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Proficiency with ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions), and Infrastructure as Code (CDK).
• Deep understanding of ORM and experience with MySQL.
• Strong focus on code quality, security, and standards.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
