Senior Software Engineer - AP PROFESSIONAL : Job Details

AP Executive Staffing is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for our customer, a premier Buffalo employer. This role is 100% onsite but our client boasts one of the nicest office environments and team cultures in town! You will be joining a tight-knit IT team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of business-critical applications. This role is ideal for a self-starter with deep experience in the Microsoft tech stack and a passion for solving problems in a mixed modern/legacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain .NET web, desktop, and console applications (C#, VB, ASP.NET)
• Design and optimize MS SQL Server databases (T-SQL, stored procedures, views, triggers)
• Support ERP systems (Infor Syteline v10) and legacy MS Access applications
• Troubleshoot and enhance existing systems
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and deliver scalable solutions
• Participate in cloud-based projects using Azure services and DevOps tools

Preferred Skills:

• BS in Computer Science (or related) and 7+ years in application development with Microsoft technologies
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server and .NET (Framework & Core)
• Familiarity with Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, SharePoint
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/CSS; Node.js and React a plus
• ERP and legacy system support experience preferred
