About Marble Health

Marble is building the operating system for youth mental health, connecting schools, therapists, families, and payers to deliver effective care to kids who need it most. Were growing 40% MoM, just raised our Series A, and are expanding rapidly beyond New York. Our platform integrates scheduling, communication, documentation, billing, and more all to reduce friction for providers and improve care for kids.

Role Overview

Were looking for a senior full stack engineer to help scale Marbles care delivery platform for youth mental health. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role for someone who wants to go deep across the stack whether its building patient- and therapist-facing experiences, internal tools, or the backend systems that power them. Youll be a technical leader with strong product instincts, helping us build intuitive, elegant, and scalable software for the people who need it most. You'll collaborate closely with product, operations, and clinical teams, and have the opportunity to own key parts of our platform end-to-end.

What Youll Do
  • Build high-quality, user-focused full stack products
  • Contribute to the core surfaces of Marbles platform, including:
    • Interfaces for patients and families navigating care
    • Tools for therapists and care coordinators delivering that care
    • Portals for school counselors making referrals and tracking progress
    • Internal workflows and RCM systems that keep our business running
  • Own and evolve core platform architecture
  • Help shape the systems that underpin our product from frontend performance and design systems to backend infrastructure like event-driven workflows, data pipelines, and integrations with external systems.
  • Raise the bar on engineering excellence
  • Set the standard for clean, maintainable code across the stack. Champion best practices in testing, observability, accessibility, and scalability. Mentor teammates and help grow a strong, thoughtful engineering culture.
  • Be a product partner and user advocate
  • Work closely with product, ops, and clinical teams to understand real-world needs and turn them into elegant solutions. Develop empathy for our diverse stakeholders and build with their experience in mind.
Requirements Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong experience across both backend and frontend development
  • Experience in Node.js and React, with a proven track record of building and maintaining full stack web applications
  • Experience designing and scaling backend systems, including working with APIs and data stores (i.e. SQL databases, redis, etc.)
  • NYC-based and able to work from our SoHo office 2+ days/week
Bonus
  • Prior startup or early-stage experience is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience in the healthtech space
  • Experience with platform infrastructure (e.g. event-driven systems, internal tooling, data pipelines) and/or cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, CI/CD, IaC such as Terraform)
  • Experience with design systems, accessibility, or frontend performance optimization
