Preferred Qualifications:The Senior Social Media Content Strategist leads the strategic direction of the University of Georgias social media efforts to protect and enhance the institutions reputation while advancing its mission and priorities. This position is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing UGAs overarching social media strategy, with a focus on managing the universitys overall social media presence, along with leading our crisis communication efforts on social media, and supporting the Digital Dawgs program as needed. This position also supports the Assistant Director of Digital Marketing on broader digital advertising efforts, including paid social, display, search, and YouTube pre-roll by contributing content coordination, creative ideas, and campaign insights. This role works closely with colleagues in content, creative, and media relations to ensure UGAs digital communications are cohesive, strategic, and high-impact. The strategist also plays a critical role in emergency communications and leads the universitys social media response efforts.
