Role Overview

In the role of Senior Site Civil Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading project teams of 2-3 engineers, providing technical expertise and project oversight.
  • Designing and planning for civil engineering projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, paving, and utility design.
  • Preparing stormwater management designs, calculations, and reports to meet local standards.
  • Coordinating design efforts with other disciplines and project leads.
  • Preparing specifications and contract documents.
  • Assisting with procurement of permits and approvals.
  • Performing quantity take-offs and cost estimates as needed.
  • Evaluating and modifying standard engineering techniques for complex assignments.
  • Developing projects with significant impact on company programs.
  • Serving as a Project Manager on larger projects, though project management is not the sole focus.
  • Performing other duties as required.
  • Qualifications

    Preferred:

    • Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCad, and relevant civil engineering software.
    • Willingness to lead project teams.

    Required:

    • At least 10 years of civil/site design project management experience.
    • PE or P.Eng license.
    • Project engineering and management experience.
