Shape the Future of Scientific AI - Scientific Data Architect (Senior) - New York!

Uniquely focused on scientific data engineering, their platform turns fragmented lab data into AI-ready, interoperable assets, accelerating discovery and development in some of the world's most dominant biopharma innovators.

They are now seeking Scientific Data Architects (Senior+) to join their growing team and support key BioPharma clients in New York, understand their scientific challenges, and deliver impactful solutions.

You Will:

• Collaborate with scientists and stakeholders in global biopharma, build extensible and scalable data models and intelligent pipelines
• Translate lab (LIMS/ELN) and scientific workflows into cloud-native, production-ready tools
• Own, prototype and implement these solutions using Python, APIs, SQL/NoSQL, AI/ML, AWS
• Collaborate with Scientists, Product, Engineers, and AI teams to prioritise painpoints and ensure rapid product development
• Hold visibility and influence across both customer environments and the product roadmap

You Should Have:

• PhD with 7+ years or MSc with 10+ years in Pharma/Biotech
• Extensive knowledge of Drug Discovery, Preclinical, CMC or similar life sciences domain
• Extensive experience in Python, Data Modelling, Engineering, Analysis and Visualisation (tabular & JSON, SQL, NoSQL, Ontologies, Streamlit, Plotly, Holoviews)
• A track record of architecting productionised scientific solutions, integrated with AI/ML and APIs for Biopharma end users
• Strong communication skills to engage across leadership, scientific and technical teams, delivering implementation and demos
• You thrive in a fast-moving and purpose-driven environment of continuous learning and development, collaboration and high-impact

Location: Remote first with onsite Pharma customer engagement in New York
