**Overview**

The NYC-based Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for procuring new business opportunities with service providers and PE firms for Equilars ExecAtlas product (ExecAtlas) as well as recruiting and managing a team of sales representatives. Equilar has signed up several name-brand accounts at the top of many wish lists. We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to build out and manage a high-producing sales team as we continue to establish ExecAtlas as the market leader.

**Responsibilities**

? Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to increase market presence by originating new business and managing strategic client relationships with service providers.

? Recruit, lead, and manage a team of sales executives and representatives.

? Articulate the value of Equilars solutions and products to help its customers meet their needs.

? Build and develop solid working relationships with key decision-makers and executives to promote Equilars advantages and uncover new growth opportunities.

? Prepare, create, and deliver effective client presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals that address the specific needs of the customer.

? Ensure the ExecAtlas sales team is properly trained and can deliver effective demonstrations to drive sales.

? Set proper sales targets and executives on plans to hit targets.

? Develop comprehensive sales compensation plans as well as forecasts to identify and produce a steady pipeline.

? Partner with Equilars research and product teams to provide clients with custom solutions.

? Provide accurate forecasts and competitive market intelligence to the leadership and account management team.

**Qualifications**

? Proven track record of success in business development and marketing of information services in entrepreneurial environments.

? Demonstrated success working with professional services firms (investment banks, law firms, consultants, recruiters, etc.), hedge funds, and private equity firms in the NYC area.

? Ability to utilize personal and professional networks to effectively recruit and onboard new sales representatives.

? Ability to effectively manage a team of sales executives and drive team sales.

? Ability to communicate effectively with external clients and internal colleagues, demonstrating the ability to reach desired outcomes.

? Strong understanding and use of Strategic Selling techniques and CRM systems.

? Experience with SaaS/Software sales.

? Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented with new business sales (or hunter) mentality with the ability to drive urgency and close business.

? Strong verbal and written communication skills.

? High integrity and credibility with internal and external business partners and stakeholders.

**Education and Experience**

? Bachelors degree required.

? 10+ years of experience in business development and B2B sales with a focus on managing strategic sales relationships to service providers and PE firms.
