Unlimited PTO | ~ $85k+ DOEA highly respected, mid-sized civil engineering consulting firm based in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Roadway/Transportation Designer to join their growing Transportation team. This is a Full-Time, Direct-Hire role supporting a variety of roadway and highway design projects-ranging from arterials and interchanges to greenways and roundabouts-for major clients including NCDOT.If you're proficient in OpenRoads and MicroStation V8i and want to take the next step in your career-apply today with your resume.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and complete roadway/highway design plans, traffic control plans, signing and pavement markings, quantities, estimates, and specifications
• Prepare and review engineering drawings and documentation
• Coordinate design details and plan sets within multidisciplinary teams
• Occasionally visit job sites (local only)
• Participate in firm-wide collaboration, committees, and training opportunities

Ideal Candidate:

• ~ +/- 10 years of roadway/highway design experience
• Strong understanding of NCDOT project delivery and standards
• Proficient in MicroStation V8i and OpenRoads Designer
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
