This role requires a strong technical background in reservoir and completions engineering, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills to work directly with customers. The ideal candidate will leverage in-house software and data analytics to design or redesign wells, refine completion strategies, and improve production economics.
This position will serve as a critical link between internal teams and customer engineering groups, utilizing data-driven insights to enhance well performance and drive continuous innovation in our technology and R&D efforts.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead a new well optimization program, using in-house software and engineering expertise to improve completion designs and enhance production efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with customer engineering teams to refine well completion designs and improve production economics. Perform statistical analysis of well performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Analyze well production data to identify performance trends and recommend enhancements.
- Analyze and interpret well production data to identify trends, diagnose performance issues, and develop actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Utilize production insights to drive in-house technology development and R&D efforts.
- Integrate production insights into in-house technology development and R&D initiatives to continuously improve completions methodologies.
- Provide technical guidance on reservoir and well completions engineering best practices.
- Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals and strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting well completions and production.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and reports to both internal stakeholders and customer teams.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in reservoir engineering and well completions engineering.
- Strong background in field operations and practical application of well completion techniques.
- Proven expertise in well performance analysis, production optimization, and economic evaluation.
- Hands-on experience using engineering software and data analytics tools to design, analyze, and optimize well completions.
- Proficiency in PHD Win, Aries, or similar, for reservoir engineering and economic modeling.
- Experience working directly with customer engineering teams or in a consulting capacity.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret well production data for decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and present ideas effectively to management.

- Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week with frequent extended hours based on workload requirements.
- Position will require (24) twenty-four hours availability, with (7) seven-day weeks when workload requires, with time off scheduled per current workload.
