Senior Research Technician - Dana-Farber Cancer Institute : Job Details

Responsible for cell culture and performing drug treatments. Perform proteomics sample preparation including cell lysis, digestion, peptide cleanup (e.g., S-Trap, SP 3), and labeling (e.g., TMT)Run samples on LC-MS systems (e.g., Orbitrap, tims. TOF) following standard protocols. Support routine QC checks and instrument maintenance under staff supervision. Maintain accurate and well-organized lab notebooks and sample metadata. Collaborate with core users to ensure timely sample processing and communication. Assist in the implementation of new protocols and improvements to existing workflows. Help train junior staff and contribute to a clean and safe laboratory environment. Maintains and orders laboratory supplies. Communicates with purchasing and may be responsible for negotiating with vendors Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 1 year's of relevant experience required. Master's degree preferred.
