Senior Real Estate Paralegal - LHH : Job Details

LHH has partnered with an esteemed firm in their search for a Senior Real Estate Paralegal in NYC. This is an opportunity to join a renown firm with a close knit team. This position is hybrid in NYC.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in title insurance procurement, resolving encumbrances, and reviewing title reports, surveys, and official documents.
• Prepare mortgage documents and manage escrow closings
• Manage and track closing documentation, including deeds, transfer tax returns, and checklists.
• Coordinate signature pages and organize closings
• Facilitate formation of LLCs, handling formation documents, searches, and UCC filings
• Support multi-state commercial transactions, including survey review, title insurance, document production, and mortgage execution.
• Review underlying title exceptions, negotiate title insurance, and liaise with surveyors and title companies.
• Conduct real estate due diligence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, required
• 4-5 years of experience as a real estate paralegal in a law firm, required
• Strong commercial title and survey experience, required
• Strong organizational capabilities

Salary: 90k-140k, dependent on experience
