Senior Radiological Engineer - Shielding & Reactivity Control - GE Vernova : Job Details

Perform technical evaluations and provide technical support in the areas of shielding design/analysis, criticality assessments, fluence analysis, and control rod blade design. Effectively communicate and coordinate activities with internal and external project managers, technical personnel, and customers on engineering/technical issues. Maintain a high standard of quality and safety while meeting baseline project schedule and cost objectives. Prepare, document and present technical data to internal and external customers. Contribute to team process improvements to drive speed and simplification. Ensure work is performed with high quality in accordance with NRC, CNSC, or other regulatory rules and regulations, customer requirements, and business quality assurance standards. Mentor and guide early career engineers in shielding design/analysis. Required Qualifications.
