Are you passionate about solving complex problems at the intersection of finance, mathematics, and technology? Our client is seeking an experience Quantitative Strategist to join their Equity Derivatives Quant team – a high-impact team responsible for building cutting-edge models and tools that drive the firm's trading and risk management strategies.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your advanced analytical skills to real-world financial markets, work with industry-leading professionals, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions across a broad spectrum of equity derivatives products.

What You'll Do

• Enhance and support advanced quantitative models used for pricing and risk managing equity derivatives
• Contribute to the design and implementation of tools that improve trading strategies and risk capabilities
• Collaborate with trading, technology, and risk teams to deliver solutions under tight deadlines and dynamic market conditions
• Serve as a subject matter expert on equity derivatives and advanced financial modeling techniques

Requirements

• PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
• Experience in a quantitative role within an investment bank, Investment Fund or financial institution
• Solid understanding of equity derivatives, with prior experience in quantitative research or model validation
• Strong grasp of stochastic calculus and numerical methods such as Monte Carlo simulation, PDE solvers, and optimization techniques
• Proficiency in Python
• Excellent communication skills – you'll need to explain complex models to both technical and non-technical audiences
