Position Summary:Reporting to the Manhattan District Office Manager, the

Position Summary:Reporting to the Manhattan District Office Manager, the Senior Proposal Manager leads the development of strategic, high-quality proposals in collaboration with GZA's operations leadership, business development (BD) leads, and project managers. This role is key in implementing GZA's proposal process, articulating value propositions, and driving pursuit strategies to win new business.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full proposal lifecycle—from RFP analysis and team coordination to content development and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with BD and technical teams to develop winning strategies and sales messages tailored to client needs.
• Lead kick-off meetings, develop response plans, and facilitate in-progress and final reviews.
• Craft compelling, client-focused documents (SOQs, proposals, presentations) that showcase GZA's strengths and differentiators.
• Maintain and update qualifications materials, including project profiles, experience matrices, and capability statements.
• Ensure compliance with branding, confidentiality, and quality standards.
• Leverage internal networks to identify innovative solutions and reinforce competitive advantages.
• GZA emphasizes a One Company environment, and as a member of our team, you may be asked to assist on projects and tasks outside of your primary responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in senior marketing/proposal roles, preferably in medium to large organizations.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, Open Asset, HubSpot, Deltek, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat).
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities across all levels.
• Familiarity with SMPS/CPSM certification preferred.
• Experience with Urban and/or Environmental Planning strongly preferred.

The base salary for this position may range between $90,000 and $120,000. The actual base salary and total compensation will depend on many factors, including location, bonus eligibility, candidate experience, education, professional licensure, and other qualifications.About GZA:
