We're a Civil Engineering firm that is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in Water Resources to lead and manage various projects, as well as design an implement a CIP practice within the company. This role will focus on ensuring project profitability, efficient resource scheduling, and overseeing design assistance while contributing to business development efforts.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage water resources projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Oversee resource scheduling to optimize project workflows and staffing requirements.
  • Assist design staff with technical guidance, set training and proficiency requirements for team members, and develop innovative design concepts with the design staff.
  • Manage project profitability through effective budgeting, billing, and financial oversight.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to identify project objectives and deliverables.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying potential projects and fostering client relationships.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates to clients and senior management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of design assistance and best practices in resource scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and team members effectively.
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
