The Senior Project Manager provides overall leadership and accountability for complex or multi-phase construction projects within highly technical, fast-paced environments such as data centers, semiconductor fabs, or other advanced manufacturing facilities. This role ensures that all project goals - schedule, budget, quality, and safety - are met, while navigating the unique demands of mission critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a culture of safety; investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee preconstruction activities including scope definition, takeoffs, bid packages, and subcontractor selection.
- Manage project buyout, change orders, cost tracking, scheduling, and subcontractor performance.
- Develop and control detailed project schedules, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to protect uptime-sensitive operations.
- Coordinate all project stakeholders: clients, subcontractors, design teams, field operations, and vendors.
- Approve shop drawings and manage submittals to align with critical-path milestones.
- Monitor risk, legal exposure, and bonding requirements across project lifecycle.
- Lead OAC meetings, internal reviews, and monthly progress reports.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, pay applications, and profitability analysis.
- Supervise project closeout including punch lists, warranty packages, and final financials.
- Support business development, estimating, and client presentations as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, including direct experience in mission critical projects such as data centers or advanced technology facilities.
- Proficient in project scheduling, cost control, change management, and contract negotiation.
- Skilled in construction software tools (PM platforms, scheduling software, BIM, etc.).
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-risk projects, maintain operational continuity, and meet exacting client requirements.

- Valid driver's license required.
- Occasional travel, weekend, or extended hours may be needed based on project demands.
- Work may involve both office and active construction site environments.
