About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our growing mechanical contracting team in the DFW area. This role is ideal for a highly organized and experienced construction professional who can lead complex HVAC and plumbing projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee budget management, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client relationships, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple mechanical projects ranging from $5M–$30M in commercial, healthcare, education, and institutional sectors
• Develop and manage project budgets, scopes, and schedules
• Coordinate with field leadership, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
• Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, and internal stakeholders
• Prepare and lead project meetings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement tracking
• Oversee project staffing plans and assist with recruitment and team development
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, contract documents, and quality standards
• Mentor junior project managers and project engineers

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mechanical construction (HVAC, plumbing, or piping systems)
• Proven experience managing full-cycle mechanical projects, preferably in commercial or institutional environments
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, building codes, and MEP coordination
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
• Strong leadership, financial acumen, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
• PMP certification is a plus
