Our client is currently in search of a distinguished Senior Project Manager to join their team. This individual will be responsible for leading complex construction projects within the healthcare, education, and institutional sectors. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional who has demonstrated a history of managing multifaceted projects from initial concept through successful completion. The successful candidate must possess a strategic mindset and the capacity to navigate the intricate and highly regulated environments that define these specialized fields.

The Role

  • Provide leadership for all project phases, from pre-construction planning to final closeout.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements and industry standards, with particular attention to the exacting demands of institutional and healthcare facilities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and professional representative for all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Manage project financials, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure fiscal accountability.
  • Supervise on-site operations to maintain rigorous quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Mentor junior team members, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing culture.

Conduct regular project reviews to assess progress and implement effective solutions to any challenges.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
  • Significant experience with ground-up and renovation projects in at least healthcare. Education, or institutional too is preferred.
  • A history of successfully managing projects valued at $20M+ from inception to completion.
  • An in-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and local building codes.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are paramount.
  • Proficiency in standard project management software is expected.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required. PMP, LEED, or similar professional certifications are highly regarded.

Package

The base salary is projected to be up to 200k, with a total compensation package, including a performance-based bonus structure, placing it in the top quartile for senior project management roles.
