General Description:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end execution of medium to high complexity capital and Product Development projects. They will lead cross functional project teams, and manage the project schedule, budget, and quality deliverables.

Reports to:

Director of Continuous Improvement

Responsibilities:

· Lead multiple medium to high complexity projects, with end-to-end ownership of projects.

· Plan and execute projects related to both capital expenditures and new product development.

· Manage cross-functional project teams.

· Stakeholder Management: Identify and build relationships with stakeholders, manage stakeholder expectations.

· Project Planning: Develop project schedules and resource requirements. Track and report on project progress.

· Cost Control: Manage the Project Capital, Expense and Resource Expenditures to stay within budget and ensure that the financial metrics are met.

· Economic Analysis: Support alternatives evaluation, variance analysis, cost calculations, etc.

· Communications: Develop the Project Communication Plan, lead periodic Management Level Project Reviews, Report Project Progress.

· Change Management: Perform integrated Change Management Control.

· Risk Management: Create, monitor, and control risk management plans.

· Address and resolve issues/impediments in project.

· Monitor coordination of internal resources with appropriate department, resolve operational issues, and ensure project implementation on time, on cost, on quality.

· Serve as the organizational Subject Matter Expert on Project Management. Recommend and train on Project Management tools.

Travel as needed to support projects, less than 10%.

Minimum Educational Qualifications (If Applicable):

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or equivalent

Minimum Previous Experience (If Applicable):

· 7-10 years of progressively responsible project management experience required

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required

Minimum Additional Training (If Applicable):

· PMP certification is preferred

· Lean/Six Sigma green belt or black belt preferred

Other Skills:

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required, especially MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Experience in effective project management strategies and tactics

· Experience in Stakeholder management, requirement management

· Fluent in English with good verbal and written communications skills, ability to communicate Globally at all levels internally and externally

· Extensive experience in project planning and execution

· Extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams to success

· Proficient in project ROI analysis (NPV, IRR, Payback period)

Experience with toll gate / stage gate process in product development
