About the Role
Talent Depot is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support our client in the successful execution of complex product development initiatives. This is a full-time on-site position based in Mankato, MN, and offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design and development of cutting-edge consumer products integrating mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile software project management, embedded systems development, and cross-functional team leadership. PMP certification is required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple high-risk, complex projects from concept to mass production using Agile methodologies.
Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and manufacturing teams to define project objectives, timelines, and success criteria.
Allocate and manage internal and external technical resources, ensuring project goals are met within schedule and budget.
Review project plans, identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and resolve roadblocks affecting progress.
Integrate embedded software, application software, electrical systems, and mechanical components into a seamless consumer product.
Track milestones, deliverables, and project documentation while communicating with stakeholders on progress and outcomes.
Support the transition of new products into production and lead training efforts for customer service teams.
Evaluate project performance and drive continuous process improvements.
RequirementsQualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline required.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years managing engineering projects across disciplines.
Proven track record leading software development projects using Agile methodologies.
Demonstrated experience delivering embedded and consumer product solutions from ideation to production.
PMP Certification required.
Technical Skills & Competencies:

Deep understanding of mechanical, software, and electrical engineering integration.
Proactive problem-solving abilities and ownership mentality.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
