Job Description :

The Senior Project Manager must be a highly motivated, adaptable, and experienced professional in multiple aspects of construction. The SPM must have proven leadership capabilities with high ethical standards and the skills to lead and develop others.

The SPM must be able to lead, manage, and coordinate all phases of multiple projects, ranging in size, through the entire pre-construction, construction, and closeout phases. This shall be done while collaborating and training other Project Managers and/or Assistant Project Managers.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Field Operations Managers and the General Superintendent to ensure all company protocols are followed.
  • Work and communicate with Field Operations Managers and the General Superintendent to ensure quality and safety expectations, schedule, and the overall customer experience are on target to ensure Martin Concrete remains the preferred sub-contractor for future projects.
  • Ensure monthly pay requests and schedule of values are completed accurately.
  • Track costs for sequential costing, ensure costs are coded correctly, and match budgeted cost codes.
  • Perform Job Cost Analysis.
  • Communicate with upper management to develop strategic programs and project goals.
  • Create and manage project budgets and expenses.
  • Monitor project performance, including schedule, quality, safety, labor costs, budget, customer satisfaction, and other factors affecting project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Pre-Construction Department to secure projects.
  • Oversee the project turnover from the Estimating Department to the Project Management Department during preconstruction.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a diverse team, ensuring growth opportunities to meet individual and company goals.
  • Build and develop long-term relationships with customers.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for large problems between Martin Concrete and the customer.
