Position Overview

As a senior project manager at Henderson Engineers, you will contribute your expertise across our six market sectors, including Business, Community, Grocery & Distribution, Health, Retail, and Venue. We integrate our engineering knowledge with in-the-field experience through our sister company, Henderson Building Solutions, to deliver unparalleled client experiences. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of project planning, execution, and client experience.
  • Manage the development of project proposals, contracts, and budgets.
  • Plan and coordinate project deliverables, delegating as needed.
  • Manage client service and communication, maintaining proactive engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to budgets and financial expectations.
  • Ensure overall project performance and meet quality expectations.
  • Develop scope of work and fee structures for complex projects to mitigate risks.
  • Serve as the primary contact and brand ambassador for projects.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
  • Proactively resolve conflicts and share lessons learned to improve client experience.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and support business strategies.
  • Lead project teams, overseeing less experienced project managers as needed.
    • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related fields preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
    • Minimum 14 years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years in project management.
    • Advanced proficiency in project management standards and building design principles.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with Revit, CAD, Bluebeam.
    • Project management certification.
    • P.E. license preferred.
