Senior Project Manager (Hybrid) - Tandym Group : Job Details

An entertainment company in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for a promising Senior-level position with their growing team. In this role, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for will be accountable for the overall planning, execution and success of complex, fast-paced, deadline driven projects and programs in an Agile environment.***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday are mandatory).***Responsibilities:The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Identifying and documenting project timelines with clear milestones, and owners; manage execution against milestones and project targets
• Creating and maintaining project and team artifacts and documentation including project plans, timelines, centralized Confluence repositories
• Coordinating with multiple teams, driving alignment on project and program delivery across the portfolio
• Evoking an appropriate sense of urgency around priorities within and across teams
• Facilitating and leading Agile ceremonies - daily standups, iteration planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews
• Managing project and sprint scope and unplanned requirements
• Identifying and managing project risks; implementing mitigation plans to minimize impact
• Building high performing teams by partnering cross functionally to improve Agile team processes and continuously optimizing efficiencies
• Partnering with teams to optimize Agile practices and incorporate the most effective techniques to ensure delivery.
• Managing, assessing, communicating, and improving project and team health using qualitative and quantitative measures
• Communicating project and program status with supporting relevant information (including project meeting notes, key decisions)
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of direct experience in a Project Manager role directly involved with managing and delivering technology projects
• 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master capacity with Agile methodologies
• 5+ years of experience coaching teams on Agile practices

Desired Skills:

• Technical background
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Excellent oral and written communications; ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences
• Experience with live and/or high visibility events
• Industry experience in new/interactive digital media and publishing
• Experience in establishing and refining Agile and Project Management processes
• Strong problem-solving/facilitation skills
• Experience operating and influencing others in a matrixed organization
