Role Overview:

Were looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead the design and construction of a new rail terminal in the western United States, as well as ongoing capital projects at our Beaumont, TX facility. This high-visibility role will oversee projects from final design through construction and handoff to operations. Youll be Iron Horses on-the-ground lead, managing contractors, construction crews, and client relationships with precision and professionalism.

This position will require regular travel to project sites, with an option to temporarily relocate during active construction. Youll support all internal capital improvement projects at our headquarters in Beaumont, elsewhere, and help shape our long-term infrastructure strategy.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in industrial construction settings, has taken projects from concept to completion, and can confidently represent the company in the field and the boardroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project management for the design, engineering, and construction of a large-scale logistics terminal.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, engineers, internal leadership, and external stakeholders.
• Build, manage, and lead high-performing project teams and construction crews.
• Maintain full accountability for project budgets, schedules, documentation, and safety compliance.
• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, change orders, and construction milestones.
• Ensure quality, safety, and schedule expectations are met or exceeded.
• Represent Iron Horse with professionalism in both field operations and stakeholder meetings.
• Support capital improvement efforts at the Beaumont site and future developments.

What You Bring:

• 15+ years of experience in industrial construction (OGC or similar).
• Proven ability to manage projects from preconstruction/design through handoff.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to build and motivate teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant equivalent experience.
• Experience in vendor and contract management, estimating, and project controls.
• Proficiency in construction management tools and software (Procore, MS Project, Excel, etc.).
• Willingness to travel extensively and/or relocate temporarily during project execution phases.
