**_What Business Integration contributes to Cardinal Health_**Corporate Development and Strategy is responsible for leadership, direction and expertise in the development of business strategy, strategic management disciplines and business analytics that support the company's mission vision and valuation objectives, in close collaboration with business leaders.Business Integration is responsible for recommending, organizing, planning and managing projects and/or programs to effectively integrate business operations and achieve committed results.**Position Summary:**This individual contributor role will support M&A activity for Navista, an oncology & specialty healthcare practice alliance. The focus of this role will be on project managing and collating information as it relates to corporate partnership, including acquisition of and partnership with independent physician office practices.The ideal candidate will possess previous experience working in oncology/specialty practice functions, demonstrating knowledge of: revenue cycle management, clinical operations, finance/accounting, care management, human resources, compliance, legal and IT. (S)he will have a strong understanding of basic project management skills, including the ability to quickly and effectively synthesize data into presentations, memos, and other formats. While a background in traditional corporate finance is not required, a basic understanding of financial and accounting concepts will be an asset.This position reports to the Director, Business Integration & Project Management.**Responsibilities:****Diligence Management:**+ Partnering with Corporate Development, partner as project leader for due diligence/exploration of practices interested in joining Navista. Corporate Development will focus primarily on financial aspects of a deal, while the Sr. Project Manager will focus on understanding operational workflows/day-to-day practice operations component of an acquisition.+ Participate/lead practice assessments including gathering of data requests, tracking working group lists, scheduling/facilitating of meetings/calls with practices, and project managing a variety of cross-functional work groups ensuring timely and accurate completion of diligence reports and templates.+ Develop & utilize appropriate tools to track & monitor progress, report status and communicate with practices, Navista leadership and all other stakeholders.+ Serve as voice of Navista representing the organization throughout the exploration phase, being able to articulate value of organization, and offer consultative selling in terms of prospective customer management and relationship building.+ Catch projects from Business Development, then transition to Integrations and Operations team upon successful sign and/or close of deal.**Leadership & Communication:**+ Timely & effective communication with Navista leadership around potential conflicts, concerns, or blockers in achieving key deadlines or milestones.+ Manage practice expectations around process, timelines, data requests, and deliverables.+ Develop & utilize appropriate tools to track & monitor progress, report status and communicate with practices, Navista leadership and all other stakeholders.**Flexibility:**+ Due to the ebb & flow nature of practice acquisitions/transactions, there may be times this role is asked to flex and support project management related to development of clinical services, operational improvements, or other related areas of business focus.+ Because this role works closely with physicians, this role will be expected to participate in calls/meetings that may take place outside the normal hours of business operations, including early mornings and evenings.+ Because of the time-sensitive nature of this work, this role may require completion of work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, in order to meet deadlines.+ Capacity to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines simultaneously, while meeting business deadlines and objectives.**Qualifications:**+ Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Communications, Business Management, Finance, or related field+ Master's Degree/MBA - preferred+ 8-12 years of professional work experience+ Previous experience working in healthcare, specifically in an oncology or specialty practice office or MSO (managed service organization) setting.+ Project management, process improvement, and/or corporate finance and accounting experience preferred.**Travel:**+ Up to 20% (typically
