Supports development and reporting of Kaweah Health's Strategic Plan. Leads projects independently, with support from the Director of the Project Management and Consulting Office and mentors/supports the Project Manager and Consultant.QUALIFICATIONSLicense /CertificationsPreferred: Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, Change Management, or Project Management Professional certified.EducationRequired: Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare related field.Preferred: Master's degree in a business or healthcare related field.ExperienceRequired: Minimum of four years experience in project management, business process improvement, business intelligence and analytics, consulting or other related business experience in a healthcare setting. Experience using project management and process mapping software and tools.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesA strategic thinker with an ability to drive implementation.Ability to engage and lead cross functional teams toward a common goal.Demonstrates self-confidence, poise and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively as part of a team, to take part in professional discussions and to liaise with Leadership, Executives, Board members and Medical Staff on a regular basis.Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with the ability to learn on the fly while understanding and solving problems.Exhibit a high level of independent judgment and initiative.Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.Ability to identify, develop, test and implement process improvements in a variety of areas.Strong skills in data analytics, abstraction and joining of data from a variety of sources.Ability to develop and execute data analytics to support decision making.Knowledge of healthcare operations. Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and documentation.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including effective prioritization of work efforts.Ability to work within defined project time frames and scopes of work.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESEssentialSupports teams in developing the annual strategic plan and related monthly reporting.Serves as Project Manager on assigned projects, organizing and facilitating teams to achieve project objectives. Responsible to monitor project plans, timing, deliverables and other key metrics to keep participants on track and to update key stakeholders on progress toward project goals.Completes consulting projects as assigned by the Director of the Project Management and Consulting Office. Responsible for effectively defining scope and deliverables with internal clients, as well as conducting needed inquiry, financial and data analysis, testing and reporting.Identifies and manages business process improvement projects throughout Kaweah Health. This includes establishment of cross functional teams, development of project scope, project budgets, analysis of data and key performance metrics, testing of proposed changes, development of tools and recommendations and participation in change management activities related to the improvements.Participates in departmental, interdepartmental and other team meetings and works cross functionally to assist in facilitation, monitoring and completion of project goals.Serves as a resource for data abstraction and analysis from a variety of systems for a variety of projects.As needed researches and establishes metrics and key performance indicators for areas to facilitate monitoring of ongoing performance.Uses change management tools and methodologies to lead the organization through significant changes.Uses tools associated with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma and Business Process Management to drive improvement opportunities throughout the organization.Develops and presents written and verbal reports at various points during the life cycle of assigned projects.Performs other duties as assigned.Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area.Pay Range$38.92 -$58.38If you want to use your talents alongside people who face each day with courage and purpose, in an environment that empowers you to do your absolute best, this is where you belong.
