Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Agile/Scrum)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Experience Required: 12+ years

Contract: W2

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong Agile/Scrum experience to lead the delivery of a large enterprise software implementation. The ideal candidate should have experience managing technical teams, working with vendors, and leading multi-year programs with multiple releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional Agile teams to deliver enterprise software projects.
• Guide and support project managers on technical activities (e.g., data conversion, DevSecOps, security, integration).
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Track project progress using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure SLAs are met.
• Map and manage technical dependencies, especially in cloud, security, and infrastructure.
• Maintain project documents: charters, schedules, RACI, risk plans.
• Ensure security and compliance practices are integrated in the project.
• Support organizational change management and stakeholder communications.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience (minimum 3 years in Agile/Scrum environments).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
• Proven experience with enterprise software implementations.
• Strong experience in Agile methodologies and team leadership.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
• Experience managing vendors and performance tracking.
• Familiar with NIST, FedRAMP, or similar compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• SAFe certification or PMP.
• Experience in public sector/government or regulated environments.
• Background in large consulting firms.
