Learn more at www.synopsys.com. SUMMARY The Senior Project Manager, AGI manages large-scale, high impact projects to support the rapid growth of the Ansys Government Initiatives (AGI) business. The Senior Project Manager directs the daily activities of team members on multiple projects to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should have a strong program management background and demonstrated success managing large, complex programs. This role, reporting to the VP, Strategic Operations, AGI, is an excellent opportunity to impact business unit growth.This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. RESPONSIBILITIESDirect large-scale, complex projects that involve multiple internal & external stakeholdersDevelop the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related project management artifactsPartner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteriaDefine and track project milestonesDirectly facilitate program steering committee meetings and conduct periodic briefings/status updates to various levels of the organization for assigned areasEnsure all projects adhere to project methodology compliance standards set by the companyLead cross-functional meetings & foster teamwork; identify gaps/misalignments and drive escalation/resolution of issuesManage program-level risks and interdependenciesAssess and resolve all high priority project risks as they are encounteredProvide steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines common to a rapidly growing company with an evolving business model MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree with minimum of 3 years of project management experienceExperience in B2B technology, preferably with background in the government spaceStrong planning, organizational, and leadership skills, including the ability to mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace, and execute with limited information and ambiguityExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectivesDemonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precisionStrong influencing and negotiation skills, including the ability to navigate in a highly matrixed organization effectivelyAbility to quickly build rapport and strong relationships with team members & key stakeholdersSelf-motivated with a clear sense of urgency PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPMP/PMI Certification preferred Rewards and Benefits: We offer a comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits to cater to your needs.
