Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid with Local Fieldwork)

Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Overview

We're looking for a skilled and detail-driven Project Lead II to join our Real Estate Measurement & Analytics Group. In this role, you'll lead the delivery of field surveys, BOMA area calculations, as-built documentation, and accessibility analyses for commercial properties across Southern California and beyond. You'll manage technical workflows from kickoff through delivery, guide junior staff, and act as a key point of contact for our clients. If you enjoy blending fieldwork with precision drawing, and want to work at the intersection of design, data, and real estate strategy, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Project Lead II, you'll take ownership of field-to-deliverable workflows across a range of projects, ensuring deliverables are accurate, code-compliant, and delivered on time. You'll work closely with internal teams and clients, supporting high-profile real estate decisions and helping maintain the quality and consistency of our services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading field surveys and producing high-quality As-Built drawings, BOMA calculations, and accessibility reports
  • Coordinating project logistics, including survey prep, site access, and time/labor estimates
  • Managing project timelines, scope, budget, and internal resources
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project execution
  • Applying relevant codes and standards (BOMA, ADA, CBC, etc.) with a high degree of technical accuracy
  • Conducting QA/QC reviews of deliverables to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting their technical growth
  • Identifying and communicating opportunities to expand project scope or services
  • Supporting proposal development and project pricing with senior staff
  • Using field technology tools to improve documentation accuracy and efficiency
  • Providing post-delivery support, including answering client questions and issuing minor revisions
  • Contributing to the evolution of internal workflows and best practices

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who's technically sharp, highly organized, and confident managing projects from start to finish. You're comfortable working independently but know when to collaborate, escalate, or lead. You take pride in precision and have a strong grasp of the codes and standards that shape the built environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field, or 8–10 years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and digital drawing tools
  • In-depth knowledge of BOMA Measurement Standards, accessibility codes (ADA, CBC), and egress planning
  • Proven ability to manage projects, coordinate teams, and communicate directly with clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail
  • Effective time management and task prioritization
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel; occasional regional travel may be required
