We're seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Western New York Bridge Department and take a leading role in the design and execution of critical transportation projects across New York State.Our Western New York Bridge team is expanding, and we're excited to offer you the opportunity to be part of the largest bridge program in our team's history. • Project Leadership: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept development through construction and closeout. Provide technical leadership and ensure quality and efficiency at every stage.
• Design Expertise: Apply advanced knowledge in bridge design to develop creative, efficient solutions for a wide variety of bridge projects. Prepare design reports, plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Team Development: Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing technical knowledge and project management best practices. Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture.
• Client Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand their goals and expectations to deliver solutions that exceed requirements and build long-term trust.

Skills, Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York State
• Minimum 8 years of experience in transportation design, with a strong focus on NYSDOT/Federal Aid projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/OpenRoads
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders
