We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Operations Team working on Data Center, Vehicle Manufacturing, or General Build Construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Project Execution: Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements, support construction schedules, and participate in construction planning, design interpretation, construction methods, resolving design conflicts, and shop drawing processing. Develop and implement project engineering procedures and work controlling documents.
  • Budget Management: Monitor expenditure, track financial progress, and ensure costs stay within the budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies.
  • Resource Management: Foster collaboration, guide team members, manage project engineering personnel, interface with on-site departments, and resolve problems to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
  • Risk Management: Represent the company in meetings with A/E, clients, and project teams.
  • Technical Support: Serve as the key technical person on projects, potentially managing small to medium-sized projects.
  • Qualifications

    • 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of construction engineering experience.
    • Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and understanding of interdependent functional units.

    Preferred Skills

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to implement management strategies to improve project and employee performance.

    Skills and Attributes for Success

    • Technical knowledge in construction, engineering, procurement, project controls, and contracts.
    • Proficiency in budget management, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
    • Experience in risk assessment and mitigation.
    • Ability to adapt in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
