Principal Project Analyst
Type: 5+ months contract
Frisco, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
As a Project Analyst, you will:
• Drive successful delivery of several moderate complex to complex projects and identify and deliver project benefits.
• Manage all aspects of a given project, from requirements gathering to implementation.
• Plan and facilitate project work efforts to deliver on time, in budget, and within scope in accordance with business priorities.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with Technology goals and business priorities.
• Create and execute project plans and identify & coordinate resource needs.
• Evaluate and manage trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork, driving escalation and resolution of issues.
• Partner with stakeholders to define success metrics, and ensuring effective, high quality project outcomes that produce value.
• Track project status and manage project team complexities to mitigate issues & risks.
• Ensure projects adhere to Technology project methodology compliance standards.
Who you are:
• Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (for example, that of the PMI, PRINCE2 and agile approaches) and PLC stages.
• Deep knowledge of systems development life cycle concepts and methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of project planning/scheduling tools (for example, Microsoft Project and Open Workbench).
• Deep knowledge of emerging tools and technologies in information technology and their applications to business processes.
• Deep knowledge of methods and practices for defining project strategy and plan, driving continuous improvement, and defining and operationalizing project roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of contract types, contract procurement and administration processes, and building proposals.
• Deep understanding of the principles and methods to identify, analyze, specify, design, and manage functional and infrastructure requirements.
• Leading skills in release and deployment management, risk management, resource management, and performance management.
• Leading skills in progress tracking and reporting.
• Developing ability to make sound, well-informed, and objective decisions; perceives the impact and implications of decisions.
• Proven ability to train, coach and mentor the team.
• Proven ability to build team spirit to sustain cooperative working relationships.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Typically, 5+ years' experience including at least 3 years managing projects.
• Strong experience with project management tools, software delivery, and an understanding of technology concepts.
