Description Aerospace Sales Manager*This is an on-site role located in Melbourne, FL*The Role:**To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.**Lead defense sales with FAR requirements for contractors and government agencies, and support of aerospace electronics and avionics products to the customers requiring comprehensive product and platform/market knowledge. A proven track record of sales and accomplishments, preferably in aerospace electronics for commercial and military platforms. Manage the overall growth for assigned product lines, including developing and meeting pricing strategies and targets, and leading all contractual and business negotiations to support the business. Role & Responsibilities:
- Identify, solicit, and cultivate sales with customers, accountable for maintaining sales funnel to achieve established sales revenue and growth goals
- Responsible for the preparation of annual and monthly product forecasts to include revenue and bookings projections
- Develop pricing strategy to ensure the right business conditions are in place before submitting bids and accepting awards
- Communicate and present critical data, market analysis, and go-to-market recommendations to all levels of management
- Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage distribution partners
- Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning (our specific Acquisition process) through production/repair and end of life
- Review contracts and ensure internal flow down of requirements, including meeting with stakeholders to ensure timely execution
- Ability to travel as required, up to 15% of the time throughout the Fiscal Year
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, prefer technical discipline with a balance of business acumen or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years' direct experience in a Program or Product Manager or Sales Manager role
Desirable Qualifications:
- Sales and/or P&L experience in the avionics, aviation, or electronics industry
- Possesses a general understanding of aviation and defense markets, products and systems
