Our client, a leading child and adolescent counseling center, is seeking a Senior Program Director to lead its Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) initiative. This is a mission-critical role for an innovative, integrated, and patient-centered model of care that transforms challenging beginnings into promising futures. As the Senior Program Director, you will oversee all clinical and administrative aspects of the CCBHC program, ensuring high standards of care and operational excellence. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker and strong collaborator with a passion for trauma-informed, data-driven service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Direct day-to-day operations of the CCBHC, ensuring alignment with OMH, OASAS, and CARF standards, as well as internal benchmarks for quality, safety, and compliance.
- Program Strategy & Implementation: Lead the development and execution of strategic plans, program schedules, budgets, and staffing models. Monitor progress toward milestones and adjust as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Integrated Care Model Oversight: Champion a population health approach by leading cross-functional teams in delivering coordinated, client-centered care across behavioral health and primary services.
- Team Supervision & Development: Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to clinical and administrative staff. Oversee hiring, onboarding, supervision, and performance management in alignment with agency values and labor agreements.
- Revenue Cycle & Budget Management: Ensure efficiency in front-end revenue cycle activities, including insurance eligibility, scheduling, and provider productivity. Monitor and manage program expenditures and revenue to meet fiscal goals.
- Quality & Compliance Oversight: Utilize performance data to drive continuous quality improvement (CQI), risk management, and compliance with all regulatory and accreditation bodies.
- Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the program's primary liaison with senior leadership, community partners, funders, and evaluation teams. Lead stakeholder meetings and ensure transparency and accountability across all levels.
- Recruitment & Retention: Develop strategies to attract and retain top talent, fostering a culture of leadership, collaboration, and innovation.
- Trauma-Informed Clinical Leadership: Ensure delivery of compassionate, culturally competent care aligned with trauma-informed best practices and CCBHC guidelines.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Behavioral Health, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a senior supervisory or program management role.
- Proven success managing complex programs with clinical and administrative components.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health systems, regulatory requirements, and collective bargaining environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and program/project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and engage with diverse community stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize and report on program data.
- Must pass background checks, health clearance, and fingerprinting.
- SIFI Certification (Seminar in Field Instruction), preferred
