As a Senior Product Owner specializing in Medicaid, you will play a critical role in guiding product vision and roadmap for our Agile delivery team. Your responsibilities will include defining user stories, prioritizing the product backlog, and ensuring the timely delivery of valuable products.

This position addresses moderately complex to complex challenges, requiring in-depth analysis of various factors. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and the development team to ensure we build the right product in the right order, within budget and deadlines.

  • Act as the primary contact for the Agile team, facilitating communication and decision-making.
  • Monitor project and production environment issues and provide timely updates to leadership.
  • Identify product gaps and define product requirements to enhance user experience.
  • Influence department strategy and make technical decisions on project components.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in Product Ownership or Product Management.
  • At least four years of experience with Agile development methodologies and setting vision for teams.
  • Proven experience in writing user stories, including intent, prioritization, acceptance criteria, and approval.
  • Experience in enhancing solutions to address existing customer problems and managing the Agile team backlog.
  • Experience in developing project roadmaps and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to drive project goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Lean Certified / Six Sigma.
  • Experience with Encounter Data Submissions.
  • Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid products.
  • Knowledge of CAS X12 SQL.

This position is remote, with core work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm EST. While remote, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Compensation: The compensation range for this role is $94,900 - $130,500 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on company and individual performance.
